TEDxSingapore - Paul Dunn - Wonderful Talk On WOW And Its Positive Effects
This is a great talk and good to watch again and again, and it is especially great for business.
An engineer by training who quickly discovered people were more interesting than "things", Paul Dunn began his career in technology -- first at Hewlett-Packard then at an Australian computer start-up that became a $23 million enterprise.
In 1980, Paul decided his real love was marketing and speaking so he formed specialist marketing company The Results Corporation -- now a $20 million company. In 1992, he started Results Accountant Systems (RAS) aimed at accountants. Eight years later sold his business to spend more time mentoring his friends and clients. In 2003, he launched his book: The Firm of the Future.
Today, Paul helps create businesses around the world and is passionate about giving back to social causes. He is also the Chairman of the Buy1Give1 organisation, a Singapore-HQ'd non-profit that makes it easier for businesses to contribute to their larger community. He clocks up an average of 1,002,000 km of air travel each year.

Celebrate Friends and Loved Ones That Have Passed With An Online Memorial
What is MemoryFly?
MemoryFly is a place to write Memorials, share Memories, and place photos of loved ones, friends, anyone important to you that has passed away, whether from the past or present. MemoryFly will then store that information in a permanent, personal web site.
MemoryFly offers a place to share memories, photos and life experiences for all to see...
for generations to come.
for generations to come.
The Memorial you build will exist on the Internet permanently. This provides a place where children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and so on can come to read about the lives of their ancestors in first-hand accounts and see photos shared by family and friends over the years.
MemoryFly allows you to associate different Memorials with each other which provides your visitors the chance to view information about other family members or friends, and learn about their lives as well.
Who We Are
My wife and I created MemoryFly after my mother died in 2006. At that time I realized when we pass on, very few of us are remembered beyond our immediate family. If there is no real information about who we are and what we did, our memories simply fade into the photo albums and future generations only know us through the words of those who may remember something about us.
MemoryFly is a place for everyone to share stories and life accounts of those important to them and pass that information along to all future generations. Anyone can post new Memories at any time to any Memorial. When a grandchild, great-grandchild or anyone is curious about their family roots they will be able to read first-hand accounts of the lives of those relatives.
We believe death shouldn't be shrouded in sympathy and sorrow, but a cause for celebration of the person and life you knew. Make Memorials, build family trees, and most of all share with family and friends the lives of those most important to us all. MemoryFly was built on the idea that as human beings we would like to be rememberd forever, and MemoryFly offers us the chance to never be forgotten.

Have Back Issues Or Other Muscle Issues? See Shiloh Williamson CMT
In the last two weeks, I've suffered from a dull back pain that made it uncomfortable to sit at my computer and work, and that is a lot of what I do, so I needed to get this taken care of. One of our clients is Shiloh Williamson, Certified Massage Therapist, so I made an appointment and went to see her last week. I wasn't sure what to expect and having been to a physical therapist once before and had a very bad experience, I was interested how or if this would be different.
It was very different. A couple of days after last weeks appointment, the pain began to subside, but one thing I noticed was that I had much more range of motion than before the appointment. She worked through relaxing my tensed up muscles so well, that I could move so much better. The second appointment brought even more relief.
All I can say is that it was a great experience and I feel much better and can move better and the pain is almost completely gone. If you have an issue like that or something similar, give Shiloh a try. Call her for a consultation or an appointment at 707-301-0440. Her website is http://www.shilohcmt.com/.
Below is a quote from the home page of her website:
"[I offer] certified medical massage therapy services. This is a type of massage that is defined as medically necessary massage, which is prescribed by a physician. Medical massage is practiced in relation to a specific goal focused on improving the health of my patients. It can be helpful to individuals who suffer from an assortment of health conditions, including repetitive motion injuries, muscle spasms, neuromuscular conditions, Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, chronic headaches, whiplash, rotator cuff injuries, and soft-tissue injuries as well, to name a few. Overall, medical massage is a noninvasive therapy that produces beneficial health results to those experiencing numerous health-related illnesses and injuries.
I also focus on wellness massage. It is a gentle, non-invasive massage. I find and touch the pain -- I don't inflict the pain. By asking a few questions and looking at a patient's body, I find where the pain is hiding. Sometimes for a moment it could be uncomfortable but, once I release that pain my patients feel great relief. It is important to listen and understand the somatic of what a patient is experiencing. I work with my clients to help them understand what their bodies are saying in order to achieve the best results. My education and background is utilized not only with my patients that require medical massage, but also carries over to my patients that come to me for wellness massage, however, wellness massage is non-prescribed."

Hands On Owner and Operator Tom Jackson IS Vacaville Electric And He CAN Do The Job!
My name is Tom Jackson, Owner/Operator of Vacaville Electric. I have been an Electrician for 15 years and have hands-on field training in Residential, Commercial and Industrial electrical work. When I was 19 years old, I took over a friend's job doing Residential electric work and have been in the Electrical industry ever since. After a few years of Residential work, I wanted to learn something new and switched to Commercial work. A couple of years later, the location of the company's work started moving too far south.
At that time, I made the decision to join Local 180 and to work locally. I was sworn (organized) in as a Residential Journeyman. After a couple years, I challenged the Board and tested out for Commercial Journeyman.
The last five years have been spent working in the Napa Valley, doing Wineries, Caves, Restaurants, Shopping Centers and Custom Homes. Last year I decided it was time to bring my experience home and begin the last company I will ever work for. My experience includes everything from Design to New Construction, Existing Construction, Remodels, Tenant Improvements and Service/maintenance of existing systems.
In July of 2009, I started Vacaville Electric. We are Locally Owned and Operated. I was born and raised in Fairfield, and have been residing in Vacaville for the last 10 years. My family is a part of this community and we are here to stay.
Vacaville Electric stands behind our work. We will get the job done right and in a timely manner. Customer satisfaction is important to us.

San Francisco has more than hills...although the hills are impressive.
Located in the heart of San Francisco's Theatre District , between Union Square and Nob Hill, is the Marine's Memorial Theatre. This historic landmark is a major player in the regional theater scene, bringing New York and regional performances.
Arthur Miller's "The Crucible" and "Death of a Salesman", Tennessee Williams "Camino Real", "Mother Courage" by Bertholt Brecht, and "Becket" by Jean Anouilh...to name a few from 1955 to 1965.
From 1967 to 1982 other famous plays and actors appeared on stage. "Long Day's Journey Into Night" by Eugene O'Neill and "The Boys of Autumn" starring Burt Lancaster and Kirk Douglas are just a couple. Many more have followed since then.
This 650 seat theater, built in 1926, originally was home of the national radio broadcasts featuring Jack Benny, Bob Hope, Bing Crosby and Frank Sinatra.
Shows, including "Forever Tango" and upcoming 10th Annual Sketchfest bring celebrities, dancers, and actors to the stage. It is definitely worth a stop when in San Francisco. Better yet...make it your destination.
Check out the upcoming performances at www.marinesmemorialtheatre.com.

Upward Trend's Company Philosophy Drives Our Business
Upward Trend has two main components in our business philosophy that drives everything that we do. Number one is the foundation that supports all of our services, and it is to help you grow your business. A business that is not growing is surely declining. There is no such thing as standing still.
We help you grow your business by using Internet tools, consulting and networking. Ours is a monthly service that performs all month every month while you are a client, always moving your influence forward and growing with accumulation and expansion. This is the main reason that we developed the extremely popular Trend Setter Package. This package keeps expanding every month, where before we would just build and website and then it would be left on its own by the owner. Now, all we do is the Trend Setter Package.
The second driving force in our business philosophy was borrowed from Anthony Robbins. He called it CANi, which stands for Constant and Never-Ending Improvement. We are constantly improving everything that we do and the products we offer. For example, after launching our Trend Setter Package officially in April of 2010, in October of 2010, we added video to every clients package at no extra charge. Since then we have produced a number of videos and posted them on our clients websites, blogs, social media and more. In addition, this expanded our social media presence by opening a YouTube account for each client to hold their videos. All of that is searchable.
Another improvement happened in the last couple of months where we are now adding custom graphic banners to many of our clients blogs. Here are some examples besides our own blog here:
http://folsomlakefleet.blogspot.com
http://gewekecommercialtruck.blogspot.com
http://wethepeople-fairfield.blogspot.com
http://norcalfordtruckclub.blogspot.com
These new banners improve the branding and the look dramatically and make for a much better overall product and presence.
These two business philosophies are driving our business to new heights every month, and our clients are the first beneficiary.
