SitePro Home Inspections Has Your Interests In Mind

After saving and dreaming for months and years, you've finally found the home of your dreams. It has just the right décor, space, bedrooms and amenities you and your family need right now. You’ve checked out the schools. You’ve checked out the neighborhood. You‘ve even timed the drive to and from work. BUT, have you taken seriously the importance of having a BUYER’S HOME INSPECTION done on your home? One where YOUR interests are in mind? Probably not.

Perhaps your neighbor has mentioned a home inspector or your REALTOR has referred their favorite home inspector? Can you be assured that this home inspector will take the time not only to perform a thorough and detailed inspection, but walk through the entire home explaining defects mentioned in the report as well as maintenance items? Will this inspector explain how systems work in a fun and educational manner so you know and feel comfortable with your home?

After all, this is YOUR home and you want to know as much as you can about it! Finally, when you are nearing the end of the inspection, will the inspector be scrambling to get you a report onsite or will he review his notes and prepare one of the most easily understood and professional reports in the industry within 12-24 hours? After all, it is your home. Do you want a rushed inspection and report with possible errors or one that has YOUR best interests in mind?

SitePro always has your interests in mind! After all, the largest part of our business is from happy past clients who have gone through the home buying process just like you. So buy that home and schedule your inspection today knowing you have a trusted inspection company with your interests in mind!

A Special Testimonial For Wendy VanHatten and VanHatten Writing Services

I am grateful beyond words to know and work with Wendy VanHatten, owner of VanHatten Writing Services and an author herself. Though I am grateful beyond words, I'm going to give it a good shot with words because I want to let everyone who cares to read this to benefit.

Slightly more than a month from now, it will have been one year since I published with Wendy's help a book titled, Commercial Truck Success. Since the publication, so many interesting things have come about that I am very excited and pleased to have finally completed the task and have written the book. It is reaching many all across the country and giving them a different perspective about how retail auto dealerships deal with the foreign idea of outside sales and of commercial upfitted (trucks with bodies on them) trucks.

Publishing the book was fun. It's fun to be on Amazon.com, which is a company I admire very much. It's fun to get some buzz going. It's fun to get the accolades of a few and gain respect from many who may have never known me. So, there are many benefits that I call fun surrounding publishing a book.

One of the more important things is that now there are many who consider me an expert in that field. It's interesting to me how that happens. Nothing changed about my knowledge really except the book became a real thing to hold in ones hand and read. And, of course, I like that aspect.

But, as all that is wonderful and I'm grateful for it, I am much more grateful for the things that are harder to see or quantify and that is what I want to address more here and now.

To say it succinctly, Wendy has helped me to become a better writer.

I've always seen myself as a writer and have always wanted that in my life and over the years have practiced it in spurts with some improvement. Yet, in the process of actually writing this book, going through edits and sessions with Wendy and her encouragement and guidance, I have become many levels higher a better writer than before the book began. I am in sheer joy about this progress.

Now as I write more and am now writing the follow up to the published book, I see how much my writing has improved. Yes, I certainly have practiced. I write a Daily Inspirations and have done this for the last three years every single day. Yes, I write small pieces and lots of emails. Yet, I look at what Wendy has done in working with her to help me be more and better in my writing and it is this I applaud, for it is this that is the change maker, or the catalyst to my desire to produce. She didn't produce, but she certainly aided me in doing so and that inspiration continues now a year after the publication.

I say to you who have perhaps attracted this piece to read, that Wendy can help you write your story, your book, your legacy. She can help you to be a better writer, and she can help you to get it published and on Amazon.com too. Whatever she charges in the way of fees are not nearly enough for the solid value you will receive. I can assure you of that.

If you want to become a better writer, or to publish that book you've been thinking about for a long time, now is the time to pick up the phone and call Wendy at 707-685-9468 and visit her website at www.vhwritingservices.com. You too may become a RAVING FAN!

Are You Creating A Business For Yourself, Or Just A Well Paying Job by Kirsty Dunphey

The amazing wedding photographer who gets paid $10,000 for a days work has an amazing business right? Not necessarily. That same wedding photographer falls ill or decides they don’t want to photograph 30 weddings a year and their income stream dies down. That wedding photographer has created a well paying job for herself.

The phenomenal public speaker who gets paid $8,000 for an hours work and speaks at 70 events a year – that’s a wonderful business right? Depends how you look at it. If that same public speaker sent Joe Blogs employee in their place to do a keynote speech – do you think the client would go for it? The public speaker has created a well paying job for himself.

The retail store owner who can sell anything to anyone and has 5 staff members. Now that’s a business right? Not if the moment he walks out the door sales drop 50%. He’s created… you guessed it – a well paying job for herself.

Now – I’m not saying that having a well paying job isn’t wonderful – especially if you love the work.

But…

- it’s hard to sell a well paying job as an asset

- a well paying job suffers if you’re off "work" for an extended period of time (illness, pregnancy, taking time to explore the world)

The great thing about everyone above? There’s ways for them to create business aspects to what they do.

The wedding photographer who sells prints, does other work that can be put into a book or exhibit finds ways to create leverage.

The public speaker who leverages their brand into a book, an e-series, an online educational program or a subscription based website instantly creates an income stream that works for them day or night.

And the retail store owner who lets go of being the face and trains her staff to take the fore can turn his job into a business – and a saleable one at that.

Do you have a business or a job? Do you want to start your own business or create a job for yourself? Is what you’ve built saleable? Does it work for you whether you spend the day in bed in your pjs or you’re out in the field. Mmm…. I’m writing this in my pjs!

3 Reasons Sole Proprietorship Might Not be Right for You

Watch more videos at: http://www.entrepreneur.com/video/

Attorney Nina Kaufman on when entrepreneurs should steer clear of this business entity.

There are numerous reasons why an entrepreneur should consider running a business as a sole proprietor -- meaning it is owned and operated by one person without legal distinction between the owner and the business. But business attorney Nina Kaufman says there are at least three reasons to go with a different business structure:

1. You eventually want to seek investors or partners. This might be the most obvious reason. As a sole proprietor, you're legally on your own.
2. If you're doing "risky business." Say, for instance, you're manufacturing a complicated product that might not deliver on time. If something goes wrong, the business owner can be sued without legal protection from a business entity.
3. You want to do business with major corporations. This is a hurdle for the simple reason that larger companies tend to do less business with sole proprietors than with other businesses with more legal protection, Kaufman says.

Just Bring It Back by Michael Dalton Johnson

My uncle sold his old Chevrolet to a young man. Although the bill of sale had "vehicle sold as is" in capital letters, my uncle got a call from the young man complaining about a problem with the car.

I was surprised by how my uncle handled the complaint. Instead of saying, "I told you the vehicle was sold as is," he said, "Just bring it back, and I'll give you your money back."

The young man continued to describe the problem, and my uncle told him again, "Just bring it back. I'll be happy to give you your money back," and added, "Other than that, there's nothing I can do for you."

My uncle was a keen student of human nature and knew that the best way to handle the complaint was to offer a full refund.

When you look at the underlying psychology behind this, you'll see that my uncle established the value of his selling price by not hesitating to offer to take the car back. The move left the buyer with no place to go. He was either in or out. He was in. He said he wanted to keep the car, and my uncle never heard from him again.

Gold Class Prices by Kirsty Dunphey

I excitedly hopped on to Village Cinema's website recently to purchase Gold Class tickets for my husband and I to go and see a movie. Being the parent of a tiny person I've seen very few movies in the 20 odd months since she was born and the excitement rushing through me at being able to have 3 hours to chill out with my husband was pretty darn huge.

As I stepped through the website choosing my cinema, movie and time I was pretty stunned to find out that if I wanted to book these tickets online I would also have to pay an extra $5 per ticket for the privilege of booking online. Now this confuses me. To book online, I'd still be paying with credit card, as I would if I walked into the cinema, no extra charge to them there. They're saving the cost of having a staff member process my payment, less cost to them there. They're getting my money up front and in advance meaning they know which sessions are booked out / empty earlier, great for planning and if I don't show up for some parental emergency they're also keeping my money which I never would have paid if I'd waited until I walked in to purchase my ticket.

In short, it's going to cost them less and be more beneficial for them - and yet they're putting a barrier up to me doing it.

Online shopping is favourable to so many these days because it's (usually) easier, because it's (often) cheaper and because it's (frequently more) convenient and yet, online shopping at Village Cinemas is not that much easier - there's usually not a line at Gold Class, it's not cheaper and given the first two items it's not more convenient. I think they might be missing the point. In a day and age where more and more people download to watch and half my local video stores have closed down and the others are massively downsizing I would have thought a cinema would be doing everything they could to provide me with a seamless online experience to encourage me to make the move to sit in a plush theatre and experience a real movie experience.

What do customers see when they experience your business online? Can they easily contact you (one click). Can they see your physical presence opening hours? Can they read your website well on their mobile phone? Do you have any unnecessary barriers to working with you online?
