Our Services

Fisher Physical Therapy offers Individualized Therapy and Manual Therapy.

We also offer:

Aquatic Therapy
Aquatic Physical Therapy is appropriate for clients recovering from sport or joint injury, trauma, spinal disease, surgery, cerebral vascular accident (stroke), and clients with mobility limitations created by spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, post polio syndrome, multiple sclerosis, arthritis, fibromyalgia. Our program incorporates therapy goals specific to each individual's needs and disability. We integrate aquatic physical therapy into a comprehensive treatment approach that transitions to land-based rehab or an aquatic wellness program.

Ultrasound & Infrared
Ultrasound machines are a treatment using high or low frequency sound waves. These waves are transmitted to the surrounding tissue and vascuolature. They penetrate the muscles to cause deep tissue/muscle warming. This promotes tissue relaxation and therefore is useful in treating muscle tightness and spasms. The warming effect of the sound waves also cause vessel vasodilatation and increase circulation to the area that assists in healing. We can adjust the frequency on the machine to use waves that will decrease inflammation.

Graston Technique
Graston Technique® is an interdisciplinary treatment used by more than 3000 clinicians—including athletic trainers, chiropractors, hand therapists, occupational and physical therapists.

GT is utilized at some 450 out-patient facilities and industrial on-sites, by more than 60 professional and amateur sports organizations, and is part of the curriculum at 15 respected colleges and universities.

Performance Testing
Functional Capacity Evaluation is an objective process that documents a patient’s current ability to perform work from a physical, medical, behavioral and ergonomic perspective. It should be performed prior to return to work for any patient who has sustained a job related injury.
